Uzo Chijioke is a Nigerian American author / screenwriter with a background in pharmacy. Having done what he was “supposed to do” as the first son to immigrant parents, he’s lived a life centered around duty and structure, even spending over a decade in the US Army. As such, Uzo’s stories typically center protagonists burdened by the weight of culture and their journeys of self-discovery.
